nazar is the hindi word that takes its name from the eye that wards off harm. When Neha was a young girl, her mother and other family often drew a black dot behind her right ear. This was meant to protect her from any negative energy, while letting her natural self shine.

Founded by Neha Garg in June 2026, nazar by neha was created to blend India's beautiful and intricate craftsmanship with modern western styles. Growing up, Neha spent every summer in India with her family in Delhi and Mysore. Spending so much time between India and New York, she always looked for ways to weave that part of herself into her everyday style.
She has always loved color, fashion, and putting outfits together. As a kid, she would spend hours creating looks from the clothes she already owned and putting on little fashion shows at home. nazar by neha brings her once childhood dream to life.
Working closely with her aunt in India, every collection is designed to celebrate the best of both worlds—modern, easy-to-wear silhouettes paired with India's vibrant colors, handcraftsmanship, and maximalist spirit.
